Happy Birthday Mom!

      Happy Birthday Mom!

You have been on my mind so much this week.  I usually have a week between your birthday and Mother's Day, but this time they are back to back...
I know in the sad moments of missing you that you are ever close to me, watching, smiling, knowing....loving.
Your last birthday with us, you were in your bed, I covered you with that pretty blanket, flowers on the table next to you.  You did your best to smile, a little twinkle in your distant growing eyes...
Of all the gifts I have given you through the years, the things that gather dust, break or wear out....the greatest gift I could give you in your final years, was to give you my life to care for you.  I did so.  I would do it again.  So Mom, on your 102 birthday, have a joyous celebration in heaven.!    Love you!

5 YEARS....

5 years since you went home and joined daddy and the family!  This is always such a good, not so good day since you left.  I know, I know, how absolutely wonderful, beyond wonderful life is for you and daddy!  Today is daddy's birthday!  Bet there was a huge party, angels like to throw big parties, and Jesus lovveessss the sweets!  It is Trent's birthday today too, talked to him and his brothers a little while ago.  Sure do miss those guys, makes it hard to be here and away from them.  Well mom, it won't be too much longer before we join you there, time is getting shorter and shorter here before His return!  Can't wait to see Him!  And see you and daddy and the rest of the family!  Bye for now!  We love and miss  you mom!

HAPPY 101!

Happy 101 Mom!  I sure would have loved for you to be here with us in the south, you would have loved it!  Isn't it something what God has done and is doing for us??  Beyond anything we could ask or think!  This is one of  the days that I miss you the most, this and Mother's Day.  But I know you are looking down on me and you are pleased with the person I have become, and am becoming.  Time is moving ever so quickly forward to when we will see each other again, joining together with the family and friends and our Jesus!  Love you Mom!
